Voting is Open for The Arthurs 2019

Voting is now open for the Arthur Awards 2019 – the live music industry’s favourite and most-established awards.

This year sees Arthur celebrate his 25th anniversary, and to mark the occasion we’re moving venue AND adding two new awards to the line-up: New Gig on the Block, which will recognise a new event or festival that has been running for three years or less; and Best in Show, the award for top family entertainment-style production, returns.

To find out who might be taking home one of the special 25th anniversary silver statuettes in categories including top agent, promoter, venue and festival – and to cast your vote – click here.

ILMC members, and all those who receive our regular eNews or subscribe to IQ Magazine, are eligible to vote, and our virtual polling station will remain open until Friday 15 February 2019.

The Arthurs form the climactic ending of The ILMC Gala Hou-dinner, which will take place at the stunning surroundings of the Sheraton Grand Park Lane. The Grade II-listed ballroom and Silver Gallery – adorned with palladium leaf walls and Grecian muses – is one of London’s most spectacular Art Deco spaces.

It all takes place on Thursday 7 March 2019. To purchase a ticket for the ILMC Gala Hou-dinner & 25th Arthur Awards click here.

ILMC 30 sells out

With under three weeks to go, the 30th International Live Music Conference (ILMC) has sold out, organisers have announced.

All tickets for the ‘Close Encounters of the 30th Kind’-themed anniversary conference, which kicks off with Tuesday 6 March’s 30th Birthday Blast-Off, have now been snapped up, as well as for the Gala-ctic Dinner & Arthur Awards on Thursday 8 March.

A limited number of passes remain for the 11th ILMC Production Meeting (IPM) and the tenth Green Events & Innovations (GEI) conference, which both take place on 6 March, and for Friday’s closing dinner.

“We’re thrilled that so many of the great and good of the global live music business will be joining us to celebrate ILMC’s 30th birthday,” says ILMC MD Greg Parmley. “Demand for places at ILMC is at a record level this year, and with over 1,100 delegates now confirmed, we’re set for one of our best editions yet.”
