Panel 3: I Like To Move It, Move It

Panel 3: I Like To Move It, Move It

Location: Room 1

Chaired by: Rick Smith, Rule Out Loud (UK)

Is the world smaller, or just as big as it was 25 years ago?  While communication and infrastructure improves, in many cases it’s now harder to cross borders due to unstable political situations and increasing visa requirements, amongst other reasons.

IPM’s third panel looks at moving goods, people, money and services. The session will share best practice, common sense and experiences related to transport and travel. The session will also look at finances and how to survive currency fluctuations, cash flow pressures, VAT advancing and more.

Is touring the world is becoming more difficult and/or expensive? With approximately 60% of the touring budget being spent on production in the past, can we break down the cost and focus on any changes in the costs of transport / travel?

Panellists include:
Lester Dales, Dales Evans & Co Ltd (UK)
Sebastian Tobie, eps holding gmbh (DE)
Ceri Wade, Arcadia Spectacular (UK)
Richard Young, Catapult Productions Ltd (UK)
Steve Zapp, ITB (UK)
