Selina Emeny is the EVP business affairs for Live Nation Entertainment International responsible for Live Nation Concerts, Ticketmaster and Live Nation festivals across UK, Europe and Australia & New Zealand.
Having worked for the company for nearly 20 years, starting in its Clear Channel days, Selina holds a hugely varied position with duties extending to that of company secretary, international group counsel, and head of government affairs, managing the Group’s dealings with national regulatory authorities.
With an in-house legal team, Selina has led several key Live Nation mergers and acquisitions including the non-US piece of the Live Nation and Ticketmaster merger in 2010, Mean Fiddler in 2005, Academy Music Group in 2007, DF Concerts in 2008, Ticketnet France in 2010 and the acquisition of Seatwave in 2014.
During her career, with her knowledge, expertise and passion, Selina has pro-actively worked with industry bodies including the Society of Ticketing Agents and Retailers (STAR), the Concerts Promoters’ Association and the Agents’ Associations. She has successfully lobbied the Government to change The Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003, drafted industry standard terms and conditions for the sale of tickets, and outlawed the use of flares by members of the public at festivals and concerts. Also in this time, Selina set up the International Data Governance team.
Selina was recognised in Music Week’s inaugural ‘Women in Music Roll of Honour’ in 2015 and as the industry’s ‘Most Professional Professional’ at the 2017 ILMC Arthur Awards.
Selina is a member of both Live Nation and Ticketmaster International’s executive management teams.
