Dr Julia Jones

Dr Julia Jones has spent 20 years working in the field of music and human behaviour, firstly with GB Olympic Squads and later with high profile consumer brands. She has published research in music, health and business and gained a PhD at the University of Westminster in 2015 after completing a six-year research project examining the music tastes of the 40-65-year-old consumer group. Her findings led to a number of new projects using the curation of music themes to reach and engage this audience.
Julia has been CEO of London-based experiential agency, Found in Music, since 2003. Tourism clients in the UK include leading over-50s brands Saga Holidays and Warner Hotels. Julia has recently helped Saga launch their first popular music-themed product, a David Bowie-themed city break in Berlin to mark the 40th anniversary of his critically acclaimed 'Heroes’ album.
